Beginning Cake Decorating Class Rescheduled for Late August Start

August 31st will be the first session of the Independence Community College’s popular Beginning Cake Decorating. Patty Wolfe will instruct the course on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Room W107 at ICC West, the College’s newest educational facility located at 2615 W. Main.

The first class session will be held on Tuesday, August 31st, and continue through October 12th.

Cake Decorating Class students will be introduced to basic cake design. Students will experience hands-on training in icing techniques, decorating with borders, flowers, and designs for cakes suitable for any special occasion, from birthdays to weddings.

The class size is limited and interested persons are encouraged to enroll early to guarantee placement. Cost is $25 and must be paid on or before the first night of class. Independence Community College Vet Tech Open House set for July 15th.

A special open house is planned to introduce the community to the ICC’s newest program in Veterinary Technology. On July 15th the public is invited to visit the new facility at ICC West, 2615 W. Main, between 7:00–8:00 p.m. for tours, refreshments, and information about this exciting program!
